Ingredients

3-4 tbsp butter 3-4 tbsp flour 1 cup chicken broth (or milk for creamier base) 1 tsp bouillon (if using milk) ½ tsp garlic powder ½ tsp onion powder Salt & pepper to taste

Notes

VARIATIONS: Mushroom: Use milk + ¼ cup chopped mushrooms (cook 10 mins). | Cheddar: Use milk + 1 cup shredded cheddar (melt at end).

Directions

Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Whisk in flour and cook for 1 minute to remove the raw flour taste. Slowly drizzle in broth or milk, whisking constantly to prevent lumps. Simmer for 3–5 minutes until thick and creamy. Add seasonings and stir to combine.
