Ingredients

2 cups bone broth (chicken or beef) 1 cup flour (split usage) 1 cup butter (split usage) Worcestershire sauce Salt & pepper to taste

Notes

Use homemade bone broth for the best flavor depth.

Directions

Melt butter in a pan and whisk in flour to create a roux. Cook for 1-2 minutes until slightly golden. Slowly whisk in broth to prevent lumps. Add a dash of Worcestershire, salt, and pepper. ROAST CHICKEN METHOD: Reduce 2 cups stock in the roasting pan. Mix 2 tbsp butter + 2 tbsp flour into a paste; whisk into the pan drippings to thicken.
